Clipping has Commenced, Christmas is Coming!

It's been a while since I have had time to post a blog- that's the trouble with horses, you never have enough hours in the day to get everything you want done!  Anyway since I last posted on here Barney has taken another serious hair cut and here are the results from his most recent clipping experience... 

I normally get him clipped 2-3 times a year but this was the first time in a long while that I had his feathers clipped off.  I do love the fully feathered look but I couldn't face another Winter of muddy feathers to clean.  Check out those legs- I think he looks quite smart!  As you can see from the yard, I think he lost a fair bit of weight with all the hair that came off of him.

So the clipping is completed, the clocks have gone back and I'm struggling to change rugs in the dark - it must be Winter and that means Christmas will soon be upon us (panic!)!  At The Horse Diva  we have been busy putting together our Christmas Selections and Horsey Stocking Fillers to try and make shopping for your friends at the yard a little easier.  Barney will definately be in for a few little extra pressies this Christmas time, what are you going to get your horses and your horsey mates?
